QUALITY SUPERVISOR

Position Summary:

Assist in improving, developing and enforcing product quality standards

Research and enforce compliance with local, state and federal regulations

Supervise up to six (6) Quality Assurance Technicians

Monitor finished product and assure adherence to product specifications

Participate in Foods Safety/HACCP programs

Perform other quality related job functions assigned by the QA Manager

Support the Corporate Circle of Excellence

Requirements

BA or BS (or equivalent) with ASQ Certification.

Working knowledge of production processes and systems (SPC, SQC)

Familiarity with laboratory setting, equipment and methods

Minimum of three (3)(years supervisory experience - a team player essential

Food related manufacturing experience preferred - bakery experience a plus

Working knowledge of HACCP (Certification is a plus), Food Safety Standards, GMP's

Strong analytical and problem solving skills essential

Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations

Computer competency required

Self starter

Good communication skills, both verbal and written
