SERVING THE RECRUITING NEEDS OF THE FOOD MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY
Vice President - Human Resources
Qualifications - A BS/BA in Human Resources or
Industrial Management in required (master's degree is preferred). A successful
candidate will have 15-20 years working within a manufacturing/processing
operation; 10-15 years of that experience would be in successful planning,
organizing, developing and controlling all aspects of associate relations,
employment practices, safety, benefit programs, associate training,
organizational development, security, pay practices, and risk control in a 24/7
operation. Food manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required.
Involvement in a manufacturing plant start-up or refit is a plus. The
individual needs to be a "hands on", involved, high energy,
generalist.
Responsibilities - The Vice President of Human
Resources is responsible company-wide for developing, implementing,
coordinating and interpreting procedures, programs and systems covering safety
and health, risk control (including purchasing P&C insurance), employment,
security, associate relations, wage and salary administration, benefit
administration (including health, dental, life and disability), worker's
compensation, associate and supervisor training, and state and federal laws.
This individual will report directly to the President of three companies and is
on the Leadership Team. Among our three companies, we have almost 500
associates in 13 locations spread across 6 states.
