Senior Quality Technical Manager
A.
BASIC FUNCTION: Manage, coordinate, and administer all functions of the plant
Quality Department, while serving as a resource to achieve the plant objectives
of safety, quality, efficiency, productivity, customer service, and regulatory
compliance and demonstrating continuous improvements. Responsible to lead Rehab
Technical Services to support Sunrise strategic intent in the Power market.
B.
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide major communication
link between operations and engineering to assure proper product development
and specifications. Review quality problems with appropriate personnel and
direct action required for correcting defects.
Work with engineering to develop engineering process validations,
product and component test methods, inspection guidelines and quality system
procedures. (10%)

Manage
sampling inspection, and testing of received parts, components, and materials
to determine conformance to standards. (10%)
·
Develop
the plant quality framework that includes integration of quality systems
meeting ISO and all regulatory requirements (35%)
·
Manage
the internal audit and validation processes to include data analysis and
corrective action reporting to establish consistent adherence to systems and
support troubleshooting by the plant
·
Establish
and lead a quality staff with skills and abilities to become a true service
organization to support the plant in training and technical troubleshooting to
achieve plant and company goals. (25%)
·
Manage
customer and company feedback related to Technical Service, evaluating
root-cause and establishing appropriate training, process and programs to
minimize satisfaction issues and costs to the customer and/or the company.

Development
of diagnostic, decision-support, and trouble-shooting
·
Training
and technical documentation and/or protocols
·
Evaluation
of root-cause and coordination cross-functionally regarding “No Fault Found”
determinations related to returns
·
Field
support for technical product investigation and/or resolution as required
(personally or by members of the Tech Service staff) (5%)
C.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND
EXPERIENCE
·
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year college or
university required; minimum of five years of quality/engineering related
experience and/or training. Experience in supervision and management of
personnel.

ASQ Quality Management certification and Six Sigma certification
preferred.
·
Ability to read, analyze and interpret journals, engineering
blueprints and drawings, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports
and effectively present information.
·
Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to solve practical and complex
problems of a technical nature and deal with a variety of concrete variables in
situations where only limited standardization exists.
