SERVING THE RECRUITING NEEDS OF THE FOOD MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY

Primary responsibilities: · Design methods for maintaining or
increasing process efficiencies while improving production costs, yields,
quality and safety · Troubleshoot process problems and identify
solutions which reduce downtime and conserve costs · Determine the layout of piping, equipment
and utilities for engineering changes · Develop documentation in support of
process changes (Process Description, Scope, Process Drawings, etc) · Solicit and critique proposed process changes,
submittals and designs · Review pertinent agency regulations;
advise operations, maintenance, and project managers accordingly · Use team management skills to lead the
design group during the conceptual phase of project development · Direct development of an action plan and
estimate requirements for aspects of projects · Assess vendors and review and negotiate
bid documents · Monitor developing project and actual
costs with estimates, and manage project budget · Work with design group to modify plans as
appropriate if problems arise · Prepare monthly reports, detailing
progress and costs for top management |

Required Skills: |

Ideally, the following job
qualifications and prerequisites apply: · BS in Engineering plus 3-5 years of exp.,
or equivalent combination of education and experience · Ability to perform and interpret advanced
mathematical concepts such as calculus, linear algebra, logarithms, and
quadratic equations · Ability to interpret an extensive variety
of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with
several abstract and concrete variables · Proficient PC skills including email, word
processing, spreadsheet, graphics, CAD, etc. · Demonstrated ability to develop projects,
lead teams, prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects, delegate assignments,
define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions |
