OVERVIEW

One of the most challenging and exciting positions in this Company Operations is that of a Production Supervisor. In this position, supervisors have the opportunity to gain management experience in a fast paced food manufacturing facility.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

The individual in this position will directly supervise the personnel and operations of food production areas including: training of production personnel, documenting job performance, providing feedback and implementing corrective action and/or discipline. A Production Supervisor possesses a “big picture” awareness of the business in order to meet production and business goals, maintain quality standards, and communicate effectively with managers, peers, and line employees. As production is a continuous improvement process, a Supervisor is expected to identify and initiate improvement opportunities and/or participate in team initiatives to that end.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Five years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in the food industry
• Demonstrated abilities in problem solving, operations management and team building

ADDITIONAL GENERAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Experience using MS Office Suite
• Must be willing to work any shift, weekends, overtime and holidays as needed
