	Human Resources Operations Manager
Job Description	This Company seeks a dedicated HR Operations Manager to be responsible for the effective management of the human resource function in two manufacturing facilities located in eastern Washington. You will assist plant management with human resources related issues throughout your assigned areas, such as collaborating in the selection and hiring as the point person in recruitment; collaborating with the HR Director of Operations and others on labor relations such as grievances, disciplinary issues, schedules and preparation of arbitrations and conference boards as is required; and implementing employee engagement/involvement initiatives such as training, development, and succession planning of operations staff. You will also assist the greater corporate HR group with HR initiatives throughout the company.
Required Qualifications	· Effective communication skills, both written and oral at all levels of the organization · Demonstrated "hands-on" knowledge and experience with Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement initiatives · Effective Planning, Organization and Control Skills · Ability to travel to various plant locations · Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management, closely related discipline or equivalent experience · At least 7-10 years experience in manufacturing as an HR generalist with experience in multiple locations · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail · Demonstrated leadership, coaching and teaching skills · Demonstrated knowledge of labor relations laws and practices · Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws
