Plant Superintendent

 

 

Job Description

This Company seeks an experienced and motivated Plant Superintendent to support the Cheese Plant and Whey Plant Managers in day to day production and operations activities by directing the work force and delegating tasks. You will focus on opportunities to improve production potential by ensuring that all routine tasks are completed in a timely and consistent manner. You will also direct and participate in the continuous improvement system that engages employees in process improvement activities; develop and communicate information related to production demands to supervisors and employees; and establish expectations, train, and develop supervisors and employees to their full potential.

Required Qualifications

·                     Ability to lead personnel and utilize human assets in accomplishing bottom line focused objectives to improve production operations.

·                     Minimum of three years experience in management or supervisory positions in the dairy or food manufacturing business.

·                     Bachelor’s degree in business, dairy science, food science, or equivalent work experience preferred.

·                     Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software applications.

·                     Excellent oral and written communications skills.
